WHAT YOU’LL DO

You will report to Origin’s Head of Strategy & Operations and work cross-functionally with other executives across the company. You will have the opportunity to plan, own, and manage expansion in Origin’s new markets as well as assist with setting company wide initiatives. This opportunity will enable you work on Origin’s most pressing challenges – you will gather information, make informed decisions and own the outcomes. To date, our team has:

• Built a first-of-its-kind network for financial planners
• Launched our financial education hub
• Designed operating and pricing models for new markets
• Taken our product into the Canadian, Irish & UK markets

Here are some specifics of what you might do:

• Drive end-to-end processes aimed at improving execution, productivity, and outcomes in areas like: hiring, headcount tracking, budget tracking, due diligence, and OKR/goal tracking. Solve problems like: “How do we create plans more efficiently?” ; “How do recruit planners in new geographies?”
• Track and scale internal reporting across key areas of Origin’s business as we open new markets globally
• Participate and assist in defining the Operations org’s quarterly planning processes; includes preparation of materials directly presented to executives and the board
• Solve cross-functional problems for the company
• Be a source of trusted analysis and feedback for executives across the company making business decisions

You’re a perfect fit if:

• You have 2+ years excelling in high-octane roles at startups, consulting, finance, etc. - you are commonly referred to as 'one of the best people I've ever worked with and for'
• You are familiar with financial modeling, structured presentations and other data tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.)
• You are the type of person that thrives in ambiguity and can bring thoughtful solutions to complex problems
• You pick up new software and systems fast (like: Airtable, Metabase, & Figma) and you are constantly adding to your toolkit.
• You see broken things and fix them along the way
• You're a hustler (e.g. move fast, work hard and are resilient). This will not be easy, but that doesn't scare you.
